All Things Erin

Erin is a loving daughter, sister,  wife, mother, friend and educator. She has been part of the the Worth Elementary School family as a reading specialist since 2003. In October 2016, she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Triple Negative Breast Cancer, which is an aggressive form of breast cancer that occurs in younger women and has a high rate of recurrence. After undergoing chemotherapy and radiation, her scans came back clean this past December. Erin thought she had finally beat this awful disease. A month ago, her cancer returned and had metastasized to her brain, lungs, liver, and bones. After receiving this difficult news, Erin and her family maintained their hope and were ready to fight this again. Immediately upon this diagnosis, Erin began treatment with radiation and chemo. Unfortunately, this treatment has put too much stress on her body, but her strength continues to amaze us every day.  We will maintain our hope that she will be able to come home soon!

If you are lucky enough to know Erin, you know that she truly is a special person. She has an undeniable love for her husband, Adam, and their two beautiful children, Brooklyn (6) and Connor (4). Her parents, Diane and Mike, and her brother, Ryan, along with amazing extended family have been constant supports for her throughout this difficult journey.

Erin has always been someone to put her family and others first. It’s time for us to put her first and help her with her fight. This page has been set up by her friends to help offset expenses for Erin’s cancer treatments and to alleviate financial stresses on her husband and two young children.

As long-time friends of Erin and her husband, Adam, we have set up this Go Fund Me page to help with any medical expenses or unexpected financial situations that may arise during this difficult time. We humbly ask for your help. No donation is too small. #mottsgotthis
