Mother’s Mercy Children’s Center

Mambo!

Over the last few weeks we have had the absolute honour to volunteer at Mother’s Mercy Children’s Centre in Arusha, Tanzania.

This foundation was formed in September 2017 by 24-year-old man, Seth, who had a big dream to provide quality education and care for orphans and poverty-stricken children.

Mother’s Mercy provides education, food and health care to over 60 at risk children aged 2 to 7 years old. Seth believes that providing education and daily needs to these children will create and inspire them to live a fulfilled life, and lead them towards a sustainable and independent future.

Currently the centre runs solely on donations, although unfortunately, these donations aren’t continuous. In the past, money donated has helped Seth pay the rent, provide food for the children, as well as give students a quality education.

Please help us in supporting this beautiful Children’s Centre. Any amount of money is appreciated and will contribute to the lives of Mother’s Mercy students. 

Funds will go towards these ongoing expenses:

Rent for the centre
Staff allowance (3 teachers, 1 cook)
Food (60 children)
Regular health checks
Buying medicine and antibiotics
Firewood (for cooking)
Teaching aids (textbooks, pencils, chalk)
