Mother-of-one, battling rare, aggressive cancer

Hello family and friends, I have created this goFundme for my closest friend, Ashley Baril.  Ashley has just recently been diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer, Adrenocortical Carcinoma (also known as Adrenal Cancer). Ashley was also diagnosed with Cushings Syndrome a month prior to her cancer diagnosis. Ashley has been attending countless specialists appointments, blood work appointments, C/T scans, and just within this week had an adrenalectomy where they removed the 11cm tumor, right kidney, part of her liver & part of her diaphragm. The next phase of her journey will be a round of chemo treatments to help ensure she is on the road to recovery and remission. Because of the physical toll, Ashley will have no other option but to take an extensive amount of time off of work. Anyone who knows Ashley, knows how hard of a worker she is, and how much this is going to effect her. At this time Ashley does have a medical plan, but due to very high deductibles she will be left with extensive medical bills. This is just the beginning of a long road to recovery and she can use as much help as possible. This is a very aggressive disease and Ashley wants to spend as much time with her daughter & loved ones as possible. Ashley is a tremendous, loving, dedicated Mom, who is now going through some of the toughest times I've ever seen one of my loved ones go through.
