Whatley Towns Family Fundraiser

Donation protected

My name is Pamela Whatley Jackson. My daughter and grandchildren Apriyl Whatley (April 20, 1984), Mariah Diane Towns (March 19, 2002), Reginald Jerome White III (November 6, 2016), Rosalyn Nevaeh White (July 6, 2019) went home to worship the Lord on May 29, 2021 around 11pm due to a motor vehicle accident. Their family was driving to Atlanta, GA after having just celebrated Mariah’s high school graduation On May 29, 2021. As they drove over the bridge at Lake Logan Martin around 11p, the back tire of Apriyl’s car blew out, and my daughter lost control of the vehicle. The car flipped into the lake and my daughter and grandchildren lost their lives. The support has been overwhelming and we truly appreciate every donation, both big and small. We have established this GoFundMe account to receive contributions for family expenses. We also hope to collect enough funds to establish a scholarship fund in Mariah’s name that will award a scholarship to a high school senior in the state of Alabama who has shown their belief in Christ through volunteerism, church involvement, and or business ventures. We thank the community, family, and friends for the donations received for the burial expenses, support, and prayers. Please Inbox Me With Any Questions: Facebook @prophetesspamelawhatley

About the Family:

Apriyl (37) was a caring mother, sister, friend, and community member. She beat cancer, survived the loss of a child, and overcame much adversity. She was creative, loved to have fun, and her greatest pride was being a mother. She graduated from Parker High School in (May 2001). She enjoyed volunteering in the classroom, hosting the kids friends at the house, painting, laughing, and dancing.

Mariah (18) loved to inspire her peers and family. Mariah enjoyed playing soccer and was a beloved senior of Minor High School’s 2021 graduating class. Mariah participated in theatre, choir. Mariah was the local skating ring DJ and looked forward to moving this summer to attend Mississippi State University as a 2021 Freshman.

Reginald Jerome White III - RJ (5) was highly energetic, full of life, and loved to entertain the family. He was ahead of his time, loved candy, and very inquisitive. RJ graduated kindergarten last week.

Rosalyn (2) was given only 48 hours to live when born. She learned to walk, crawl, and became verbal despite having disabilities and the doctors negative reports. Her small life was a miracle and taught us all to fight. She loved to jump, play with puppies, and wiggle her way out of her walker. Her light shines bright today.
