For those of you that aren't lucky enough to know MY Dear Brother Richie Personally I would like to tell you a little about him and his hard fought battle with cancer.

He is the sole provider and caretaker for his wife who is diagnosed with MS and a Loving Dad to his 3 pups Enzo, Bandit, Frankie. Richie is a dog lover, he will rescue any animal in need, but not only an animal lover Richie is a pillar of the community.

My Brothers Battle

The journey or more accurately Nightmare started this past November when he was originally diagnosed with stage 3 Esophageal Cancer. For the next couple months Richie underwent Radation and Chemo therapy with the hopes to enter remission. Unfortunately, chemo and radation was only part of the solution, doctors informed him that he would also have to have part of the esophagus removed, a major surgery. This entailed having his stomach moved  to reach esophagus and the placement of a feeding tube. For a Change in January, Richie received some good news, the preliminary scan showed that the chemo was having a positive effect and it gave hope that all would be well after the surgery. Come Feburary Richie was ready, with his family by his side, he entered the hospital  only to be met with complications resulting in a significant stay 19 Days!! Through all this my Brother stayed strong, eventually regaining enough strength and wellness to come home at the end of March, he was scheduled for a follow up scan to assess the cancers progression. This is when doctors gave Richie the toughest news yet, the esophageal cancer had progressed to stage 4 and spread into his kidney, lymph nodes, and on his bones .  Richie is currently undergoing an aggressive chemo therapy treatment, five hours a day, five days a week.

I ultimately write this to ask for your help, your donations and your prayers so that we may help man that has helped so many.  The proceeds of this fund raiser will be used to help Richie with the staggering amount of mounting medical expenses and medication not cover through his insurance.

I would like to thank you in advance for your prayers, support, and donations.

STAY STRONG MY DEAR BROTHER I LOVE YOU SO MUCH
