Morgen's baby needs our help!

Last Thursday, Morgen and her family found out that their son, Lee has a tumor on his kidney.  Lee is 9 months old.  As of today, (5/10/21) Lee has been at the CHOA for 5 days.  Today they received the devastating news no parent wants to hear. Lee has been diagnosed with cancer. 
He has a Wilms Tumor on his left kidney. Based on the MRI, it doesn’t seem to have spread. He will have a CT tomorrow to check for spreading  to his lungs. Regardless of how that turns out, the outcome is typically the same, whether he has spots in his lungs or not.  
He will undergo  surgery on Monday, May 17th. The surgery will remove his left kidney, along with the tumor. They will also take samples from lymph nodes, again to check for spread. He’ll also have a port put in during surgery. Tissue will be sent to pathology to get final answers and a chemo plan will come after that. The doctor is looking to start chemo probably 2 weeks after surgery and that will likely be weekly for 3-4 months.
