My Summer at the Alvin Ailey Dance Program

Hi I'm Reid Newton and dance is my passion. Dancing is my heart and soul, I don't know where I would be without it. I am a sophomore in high school, and I dance at Atlanta Ballet and North Atlanta High. I am attending the Alvin Ailey Professional Division Summer Intensive in New York City this coming June. The program is one of the most prestigious in the country and was my first choice out of the many intensives I auditioned for. I was shocked when I heard I had made it; the possibility suddenly became tangible. This is an incredible opportunity for me to expand my skill level and knowledge in dance; I am so excited. I still can't believe that I am actually going to be dancing in New York for six weeks. I am so grateful that God has placed this opportunity amongst his plans for me. It feels great to have my hard work these past couple of years pay off with such an amazing journey behind me and in front of me. As you probably already know, there are many different costs/expenses that come along with this opportunity, and I would greatly appreciate any donations that you would be willing to make.
