A new super hero has been born.
His name?...Monster Matthew.
His super power?...Crushing Cancer (or as he puts it, “Hulk smash cancer”).
The super villain?...Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML).
He has begun the ferocious fight with chemotherapy, with his super hero strength and resilience shining through. His amazing parents, Josh and Kerrie, have been his courageous sidekicks every second of the battle so far. They will continue to be by his side every step of the way, as will the junior league heroes, Zach and Hannah. As we know, even the strongest of super heroes need help. This will be a long fight, and one with many rounds of chemo, which brings with it long hospital admissions. The outpouring of love and support by friends and family has already been evident, but the fight to defeat AML will be emotionally and financially taxing for this group of heroes. This fund will enable the community behind them to fight with them by relieving some of the stress this super hero burden brings. The power of healing can then take center stage. We love you Matthew, and we’re here to help Save the Day!!!
