Monique's brain tumor medical fund

On April 3rd I had a partial complex seizure. I was taken to the ER via ambulance where a large mass on the left side of my brain was found with a CT scan. I went through one failed brain surgery because the machine that maps your brain broke mid surgery, they tried to fix it and put me under again but it did not work. I was in the worse pain I've been in due to being under anesthesia for a long time. I then went under for a second time this time for a craniotomy which was a much bigger incision the shape of a big C. This operation was successful but I have weakness and numbness across a large portion of my right side. Since then I have been diagnosed with a stage 2 oligodendroglioma brain tumor. I have been having trouble walking for over a year and a half and had asked my primary care physician and neurologist for help multiple times but was just swept under the rug. My doctor had the nerve to tell me that she never called me back for my xray results because "sometimes I just don't know what to say." I feel that the way I was treated was nothing less than unacceptable, especially since an orthopedic surgeon was the one to finally take me seriously and put an order in for an immediate brain MRI. He knew after only 15 minutes with me that my condition was bad and that it was neurological. I, unfortunately, never made it to that MRI since the seizure hit beforehand. I hate to have to ask for help but I, unfortunately, cannot work right now and now have to establish with a new doctor that will hopefully take care of me so this delays a lot of progress for me. I am only asking for help so I can cover the medical bills that keep coming in and so I can keep my house and make sure I am taking care of my animals. 2 are special needs. One is diabetic and on insulin & 2 prescription foods for the diabetes & has a history of blocking. The other has IBD, which is basically Crohn's disease for cats, and is also on prescription food and meds. Needless to say these things can be expensive, but these animals are my life and I have made a very real commitment to them to love and care for them until I pass. I will be facing chemotherapy soon and I am not sure how it will affect me & my ability to work. Any amount of help is greatly appreciated and any shares are also deeply appreciated. I know times are tough for many which makes having to ask even harder for me as I am usually the one to donate and share to help others. Thank you for your time and kidness during this difficult process.
