Monika's medical bill fund

The day started as a normal work day....but soon took a drastic turn.  Monika  was at work on Wednesday October 8th 2014, when a reoccuring headache wouldn't go away.  Monika called her doctor when she started to get slightly dizzy and he reccomended coming in for a quick check....which she did. 

Monika's life took a drastic turn after the doctor requested a cat scan....what he saw warranted emergency brain surgery to remove a 2" tumor from her brain stem!

Over the course of the next day and a half the doctors prepped us with horrible odds of surviving the surgery, and if she does survive the grueling surgery the life long deficits could be severe! As a family we cried and prayed a lot, and tried to comfort Monika and with everything we had!

At 6am on Thursday morning, the hospital staff wheeled Monika off to surgery not knowing if we would ever see her again, and she didn't know if she would wake up!

Surgery lasted 12 hours and they were able to remove 75% of the tumor.  As of today, Friday the 10th, 2014 Monika is talking, laughing a little and crying a lot.  Still scared and shaken from a life changing ordeal we as a family, especially Monika, are trying to embrace the fact that she is alive and thriving!!  

Monika has already been told her medical bills are exceeding $9,000!  Monika works very hard and has the sweetest most genuine soul of anybody I have ever met! Monika definitely doesnt deserve to be going through this ordeal let alone be faced with the extra stress of how to pay the astronomical medical bills.
