Help Support Mike Goar

Mike Goar is a beloved high school and college math teacher in Fort Collins, CO.  He has been teaching in our community for over 35 years, and has impacted thousands of students in that time.

Last Fall, Mike was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.  Since his diagnosis, Mike has undergone several rounds of chemotherapy treatment, countless doctor appointments, and numerous trips to Denver to meet with specialists.  Through all of this, Mike has still been working faithfully at his full-time job at Fort Collins High School and his part-time evening job at Front Range Community College. 

Mike is a devoted husband and father to his two young teenage children.  He lives a very active lifestyle and enjoys running with his daughter, skiing with his son, and outdoor adventuring with his wife, Cyndi Mosch.  Mike is an active parent leader in Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts and loves spending time with his family in nature.

Mike's friends and colleagues want to rally together to support the Goar family during this difficult situation.  Please consider donating to Mike's medical expenses, as there are upcoming surgeries and treatments still ahead.
