Money needed to pay bills Heart Surgery

I've just had Open Heart Surgery and need to raise money to pay for my rent and truck payment until I can return to work. I had unexpected emergency open heart surgery...I was working in San Francisco. I have no money currently to pay for my place I live alone and have a truck with payments due. I am 59 years old and have no one to help me. I am a very good hard working person that was caught completely off gaurd by this and unprepared financially. I spent the last 2 years helping a friend with female cancer and 3 young children make her Doctor's appointments and surgeries. So that is where my savings had gone in helping her and her family. I've applied for disability, but they say it will take a minimum of 3 months for anything to happen.
