Funeral Costs And Support

On December 29th my brother, Derrick Monet, and his wife, Jenna, were in a horrible car accident that ultimately claimed Jenna’s life. Derrick is an Airman First Class for the US Air Force currently stationed in Maryland. They had made the long road trip from Maryland to visit family in Arizona for the Christmas holiday. It was on their way home to Maryland that tragedy struck in Cloverdale, Indiana. Derrick and Jenna had to be extricated from the vehicle at which time, Jenna’s emotional support dog, Milo, took off from the crash site. Many wonderful volunteers continue the search for Milo in hopes that they can bring a little joy back to Derrick. Derrick is still in the hospital recovering from several fractured bones and bodily injuries. The grief and mourning of losing such a young, kind, and caring person has really taken a toll on all of us that knew Jenna. This GoFundMe is to help with the costs of Jenna’s funeral, Derrick’s continued care, and the costs associated with our Mom accompanying him back to Maryland to stay with him through the toughest time in his life. The reality of his loss is beginning to sink in and the last thing we want him to worry about is the finances it will take to lay his wife and best friend to rest.
