Help My Mom w Stage 4 Cancer Treatments

This is our mom, Mary Ann. She currently has stage 4 melanoma in her brain. It was stage 1 in 2004. Progressed to stage 3 in 2011 as it spread from a mole on her leg to all of her leg's lymph nodes. She had 3 surgeries to remove the lymph nodes. In June 2012, the melanoma spread to her brain. It also caused a stroke. She had gamma and cyber knife brain radiation to attack the brain tumors. In January 2013 it moved into her cerebral spinal fluid. In May 2013 it moved into her spine with tumors at the base of the spine. She is now unable to work and is waiting for disability. She started chemotherapy at MD Anderson in October 2012 and returned there every few weeks for each round of chemo through the first week of May 2013. On May 31,2013 the cancer caused seizues, a midline brain shift, more brain & spine tumors, and brain swelling. Thank you forbyour prayers for her and God bless you.
