Momma Lee

Momma Lee was taking her father, stepmother, and grandson to the coast yesterday to have lunch and see other family.  Taking the little ones to the beach she had  missed a step and fell down a handful of stairs on the trail down.
 
This has resulted in two fractured shoulders and an broken upper femur.  As Evan and I were on our way to Florence to see her, we were told she needed to be transported back to Eugene via Ambulance, so we waited for her here in town.  we are trying everything we can to keep her comfortable as she is in an extreme amount of pain and going through surgery for her leg.  She will also be bedridden for the time being because of her two fractured shoulders.

As we all know Momma Lee has the biggest heart in the world
and will, and does do anything that she is capable of for anyone.  

At this time in her life, she has put her work, and her personal life on hold, to spend Monday through Friday as a live-in caregiver for her Father and Stepmother who are both in their 80's.  This is how my mom lives her life, she would much rather spend it taking care of others, and giving all she has just to see one smile, or to make sure others are comfortable.  But now at this time, we have to do this for her, even though she would tell us not to.   

So many people have reached out, and we thank and appreciate each one of you.  Momma Lee will need help financially to get through this time, I always hoped we would never have to make one of these, but we don't always get what we want.  If you can help, please do.  All funds will be going towards her medical bills, her living expenses and adjustments to her home to keep her comfortable during recovery.   Please everyone say a little prayer, although she is the toughest person I know, she needs it.
