Mom and Dads Recovery

Hello friends. As you all may have heard my mom and dad, who are both in their 80’s were attacked, beaten and there car was stolen from them at the Family Dollar in Conroe yesterday. My step dad is in surgery now. He has a broken neck, broken ribs and a gash in the back of his head. We are very fortunate he did not suffer a head injury. Luckily, my mom was just shoved against the car and wasn’t beaten. They live on a fixed income. The recovery is going to be a long process. My step dad will be in the hospital for a short time and then put into a rehabilitation center for his recovery. My mom just had hip replacement surgery not long ago and needs assistance daily. As I struggle with my own health issues, I will do everything I can to care for her until he is back home again. We are setting up a go fund me. Please don’t feel obligated at all to help but if your able to help we would greatly appreciate it. Also, if you would please keep them in your prayers. We are praying for a full recovery and my mom to overcome how scared it made her feel. They have to pay a deductible on their car which exceeds 500. Not too mention replace everything they have lost. Please stay safe, know your surroundings at all times. When people approach you in the parking lot asking for money, BE AWARE!! This could happen to anyone of us!! I’m thankful they will be ok and we will get through this. Thank you all for your help & prayers.
