Mom and 3 of her kids HOMELESS!

Hi my name is Karyn but most of you know me by Kyt. My life long friend is in desperate, dire need of housing for her 3 kids and herself. She’s a wonderful soul and fantastic mother of 4 children. They have been homeless since November 1st. It also happened to be her youngest son’s birthday. They have been staying in a hotel waiting for affordable housing to come through. It’s expensive at hotel and money has run out. They reside in NC. It will be at least a 4 months wait. As of this Saturday morning (tomorrow), they will have to leave the hotel. We’ve been working together to do everything we can for this not to transpire. We’ve contacted at least a dozen people, organizations, charities, companies and even the hotel they are at. Michelle’s daughter Samantha is one of a kind! She’s a gentle, shy, amazing, selfless soul. She’s been the bread winner for her family. She gets up everyday at 5am without a complaint and works as many days as possible. Her Mother (my dear friend Michelle Guillette-Shorey) is originally from Warwick RI. Some of you reading this went to school with her or her siblings. Michelle is training to work where Samantha does. After her shift from work, Michelle will take the next shift so her 2 boys aren’t alone. Samantha will take care of them. They just need to literally buy some time (and food etc). I will be failing them if they end up sleeping in the car. I’m sickened by the thought! They need a roof over there heads. I can’t imagine them all trying to sleep in the car, being cold, no where to use a bathroom, to cook etc. I can’t fathom them not having a roof over their heads also for the holidays! They are not the type to ask for help. That’s why I’m doing this for them. I know times are tough for a plethora of people. I’m begging you to please donate ANYTHING you can. Maybe you could just skip one trip to #Dunkin’ or #Starbucks for them. Time is ticking please help them. Check out time is tomorrow at 11am. Thank you for your time and consideration! Kyt ☮️
