Molly McElwain surgery expenses

Molly is one of the MOST fiercely loving and giving women there is. There are people you say that kind of thing about, and then there are people who that is just absolutely true of—she’s one of them. She’s a wife, mother, friend to all, a talented photographer, and among a million other things, a very strong person. Molly has lived with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and endometriosis for decades, both of which are extremely painful, have affected her fertility, and have been untreatable except for surgery. At 33 years old, she recently underwent surgery for a hysterectomy and had to take time away from her photography business to pace herself in recovery. She now requires another surgery to remove more endometriosis in her body that was not attached to her uterus, and her insurance will not cover it. The costs of surgery, a hospital stay, travel out of state to the specialist who will be able to do the surgery, as well as more time away from work are extremely expensive, and we can help relieve some financial stress off of her and her family. She is also currently taking necessary monthly injections that are not covered by insurance. Despite these current and upcoming expenses, Molly and her family recently raised money for another family who didn’t have gifts for Christmas.
