Mold Avoidance Journey

Donation protected
It is really hard for me to start another Go Fund Me. During the journey of the past 5 years, but most especially the last 2, our friends and family have been amazing.
In Aug of 2016, I got very sick. I turned grey, lost weight rapidly and according to my husband, looked like I was dying. I felt like I was dying. Someone (to this day I don't remember who) suggested we look into mold. We did. The lab that came out found it underneath our entire crawl space. They said there were holes in the ductwork so it was circulating throughout the entire house. The levels inside were 10x what they were outside and the levels outside were too high. My doctor said that even if we remediated, he wouldn't recommend that I ever set foot in the house again. The remediation would have required a total gut job on the house and I still couldn't live there. Steve's estimates we're that it would cost approximately 90k. We had to walk. The home went into foreclosure.
Since that time we have battled humiliation and fighting for my health. I've seen more doctors in a few years than many see in a lifetime.
By 2019, my health was deteriorating rapidly and we realized that I was dying. A friend told us about a health clinic in Arizona called Envita Medical Center. It isn't covered by insurance but through friends and family, God provided the funds. That clinic saved my life.
Before I left Envita, my doctor warned me that my illness was 100% environmental and that I was going to have to figure out where I feel good and move there. We have attenpted to do that in multiple places in Tennessee to no avail.
Once we hit June of this year, 2021, things got worse than they ever have. I have been having convulsions, have lost the ability to speak, pass out, lose the ability to walk, my hands curl up and more. ALL of these things happen in context of an exposure. Once I take a decon shower and put on clean or new clothes, they go away.
I have a friend who has witnessed all of this and explained what he saw to some scientists where he works. They said that it sounded like a nerve agent reaction. That's exactly how I've been told to treat this.
We now have to leave the state asap. We have to travel the west and look for the climates that have molds that my body doesn't react to so severely.
We have to sell both vehicles, leave with the clothes on our back and a rental vehicle and go out of state. We have to find hotels in drier climates where I can stay, try multiple hotels and hotel rooms to find safe ones, use disposable clothing. Shorts every 3 days and new shirts every day (we buy pack of tshirts).
We have to have our bedding stripped every day, spend as much time in clean air, pools and hot tubs as possible. We have to find someone to foster our dogs while we go out for months to do this. Once we get more stable we can get them.
We have to do all of this so that I have a chance to live because if we stay in Tennessee, I won't. And we have to do all of this as soon as possible.
Above all, keep us in your prayers. If God leads you to give, thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
