Mohi Uddin Sadqah Jariya

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)."
إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ
Additional Sadiqah Jariya for Mohi Uddin a beloved father and husband, a gracious son, loyal brother and caring uncle who passed away on Friday 21st September 2018 in the spiritual month of Muharram after struggling with lymphoma cancer for 9 months.
Throughout his life he was an advocate for many causes including working at a refugee camp in 1992 for Bosnian refugees, his positivity and passion has inspired us to raise money in order to help as many people as we can in his honour. He has always taught us to be generous and to think of those less fortunate than ourselves and so we aim to raise as much money as we can for various charities he cared deeply about.
Nur has fundraising ideas including a sponsored fun run for which we will be raising funds for various charities including fundraising for cancer research and to help fund a school in Pakistan. More details will follow, but please donate generously.

SEED EDU, a charity run by our Auntie Yasmin with schools in Karachi we have visited personally. We want to build a library in his honour as Abu loved books and was a keen reader. If you have met my dad you know he would have recommended you at least one book. Nur and I will visit the library when we next go to Karachi inshAllah and post pictures here.
