My name is Mohammed Maleg I live in Pinellas park Florida
I am looking for assistance in aiding my 22 year old brother , Slimane Maleg, who is suffering from rhino-pharyngeal cancer.
He was diagnosed at age of 17 and treated with chemotherapy and radiation, went into remission , having MRI every 6 months, than once a year. December of last year he started with headaches, loss of teeth and in February chemotherapy again. In July 2019, chemotherapy protocol was changed when MRI showed tumor measuring 4.4 cm (1.73 inches)x 5.9 cm (2.32 inches)x5.9cm (2.32 inches).
12/1/19 MRI shows tumor almost doubled in size and the reason why, they said that the treatment was wrong and they did not give him the right one.
I need to collect the funds in order for him to be treated in Turkey (as Algeria does not have the type of radiation treatment he needs). I will be happy to provide more details once he is evaluated by oncologists at Acibadem Altuizade Hastanesi in Turkey.
This disease has physically and mentally impacted him to the point of ocular deformity, severe pain, difficulty breathing, swallowing, and depression. In order to be treated in Turkey we need estimated $30,000.00 for initial testing and treatment.
Any amount will help us get closer to help him.
