Modern Criticism for Thomas’ Classroom!

I’m an AP English teacher and I want to buy five copies of each of Shea Serrano’s books as a set for my class.
We are starting a literary criticism project, where the students will ultimately pick something they are passionate about (a movie, a show, an album, a book, etc.) and create an original piece of criticism about that thing, similar to a chapter out of one of Shea’s books.
By allowing them to flip through and read actual copies of Shea’s books (rather than black and white copies or handouts), I hope they become inspired to think deeply about the art that’s important to them, and are empowered to express that meaning in creative ways.
