Mock Family Home-total loss from fire

Donation protected
Hello fellow friends and family! My name is Lisa and I'm wanting to help out a family who has been through A LOT recently. On November 13th, 2022, our friends and our baseball coach, lost their dream home in the country, along with all of their possessions, cars, and many other things that can't be replaced. Around midnight they were awakened by a loud noise on the deck and quickly determined that the back of the house was on fire. Jeremy walked out of his bedroom, into the living room and saw flames from the deck up to the roof. He turned back and yelled to Mallory, his wife, to wake up. Both Jeremy and Mallory split directions to go get kids. Mallory grabbed the two dogs from their bedroom, and 3 year old son, Maddux, and put them outside on the front porch. Jeremy flew downstairs with Mallory following behind shortly after. She grabbed their 8 year old son, Hunter, and Jeremy grabbed 10 year old son, Dylan, and got them outside. Jeremy made an effort to try and save at least one of their cars after getting everyone out the front door. Unfortunately, the smoke was to thick and house to dark for him to be able to grab the keys from the kitchen at that point. He was able to exit the house out of the garage, grab his phone and call 911 from the driveway, but by the time the volunteer fire department made it to the house, it was unsafe for the firefighters to enter. They lost everything except for the pj's they were wearing, including both of their vehicles that were in the garage. Thank God everyone made it out safe! Their possessions are gone, but most of that can be replaced. Many of you have already contributed to getting them back on their feet, and they are extremely grateful for everything. I have decided to create this GoFundMe after speaking to Jeremy and hearing the about the struggles that come with losing EVERYTHING. Yes, insurance will cover things to an extent, but the market value of things is way higher right now than what insurance will pay. With the cost of living, building, buying a vehicle is so high, they are going to need some extra help. Jeremy had gone above and beyond coaching our son in baseball, spending countless hours with the 316 Baseball organization and giving back to this community, as he is a Lead Specialist on the donor relations team, helping people all over the country to fundraise, donate, and participate in events helping raise money for breast cancer research and community resources for Susan G Komen. Let us fundraise for him and come together for this family!
