Mobility & Freedom for Sarah

As many know, I am currently fighting Stage 4 metastatic lung cancer.  What most don't know is all the other medical conditions I have along with the cancer.  I don't need to go into all of the details here, but all of this together makes my mobility greatly limited.  At this time, most places outside of our home requires me to be in a wheelchair.  My parents are happy to help me, but between their advancing ages & the young age of my sisters...it just makes life very complicated.  I have applied to my health insurance for a motorized chair & it has been approved; I should be receiving it within the next two weeks.  But here is our problem.  Only the chair & ramp needed to move around our home is provided from the insurance.  A lift for the car is not deemed medically necessary.  Yet in our situation, that is where we need the help the  most.  A lift would also give me more options to get out on my own rather than always having to depend on my parents. In our research, most lifts plus the adaptations to the car range btwn $2000-3000.  My parents have paid for so much for me through the last few years, I just can't stand the thought of them having to put out another couple thousand dollars.  

Please don't feel obligated, even a share can help.  But since so many have asked how they can help or serve our family, this is one way that would greatly help us.
