Mo & Tyler’s Home & Belongings Destroyed by Fire

Donation protected
This fundraiser is to help Mo and Tyler after an early morning fire destroyed their home. Anything helps, financial donations, pet supplies for Lui & Jujubee, their beloved chihuahuas, clothes, computers, prayers, and love!

While Mo (Morgan) and Tyler were having their morning tea and coffee, they were ushered out of their Abbotsford condo for what they figured was just another false fire alarm. But, this time, it wasn't a false alarm.

They grabbed their pups, Lui & Jujubee, car keys, wallets, and IDs and went out to the side lot to wait to go back in. Then they saw the smoke. The fire started on the 3rd floor of their building in the complex. Then it quickly spread to the 4th floor. Their condo is on the fourth floor. They watched for hours as the flames slowly moved from one side of the building towards their side. They watched as the trucks moved from the front side of the complex and building their home is in, to the other side where their home is located.

Once over there, they were able to see that the fire was indeed at their home and that everything they had worked for was gone.

All their precious mementos. Morgan's cosplay costumes, fabric and machines to make those gorgeous cosplay costumes, their beloved fish.
Their computers where they both process and edit photos for their clientele, all of Morgan's shoe collection, their clothes, jewelry, paintings (including all the paintings that they painted together), everything they owned, minus what they were wearing, GONE.
Everything gone...
They are officially homeless.

From my texts with Mo:
624am "Our building is on fire..."
It's on the third floor at the opposite end of the hall. But the building is on fire. The fire is through the top of the building and the fire department is here. But the dogs and us are ok. We got out safe and honestly, well before we knew it wasn't a false alarm. I'm stressed out about having a home to come back to. "

647am "I think our place is going to be gone. The fire isn't far from it if it isn't gone now."

716am Sent a video. The video was looking from the front side of the building. Their home is on the backside.
"That's our house or just past it"

759am Sent a video. This video was from the back side of the building and a direct view of their home.
"Our home is probably gone. There was smoke coming out of it a few moments ago."

856am Sent a photo of their home.
"It's all gone. There is a huge hole on the roof where our home is. You can kinda see it there. My poor fish. Even if he somehow did survive, we're not going to be able to go back and get him or anything."

Talking about how they found out it wasn't a false alarm...
"Once we were out, we realized everyone was running into the underground garage to grab their cars, so we did the same. So we have both our cars and keys. So everything we have is as follows: Both cars, our phones, wallets, my passport, the clothes we were wearing, the pups and whatever is left in both accounts. I need to go buy a shirt (I'm wearing my sleepy bunny pj shirt), a coat (since I gave mine to a 3-year-old who was cold and I'm not about to go ask for it back) and a bra."

All in all they are trying to be light about this and even suggested naming their GFM Burning Down the House. All I could come up with at first was Up in Smoke. So they're definitely my kids!

Their immediate concerns are finding a place to stay, beds, food and coats for the pups and clothing their own bodies. And since their income is earned via computer, they'll need to replace those immediately as well.

At this point, I'm sure anything helps. If you can offer them help in the form of love, light and prayers, they'd absolutely accept and be thankful for your thought. If you can help financially, any amount helps! And they're also absolutely thankful for your help there too!!!

If you have super small puppy jackets, dog food, beds etc., you'd like to donate for Lui and Jujubee, please contact Mo via Fb to get those to them.
