Evie’s fundraiser
Evie’s story
Evie was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma at the age of 2-and-a-half, she had 18 months of treatment; chemotherapy, surgery, radiotherapy, high dose chemotherapy and finally immunotherapy.
Evie was one of the very lucky ones who walked out at the end of her treatment cancer free and she has remained that way for 8 years now!
Evie’s fundraising
Evie lost her hair twice due to chemotherapy and high dose chemo and has said for a long time that she would like to do something to help other children who are going through what she went through. She has thought carefully and had decided that she would to help two very worthy charities:
Little Princess Trust to donate her her beautiful long hair to.
Children with Cancer Fund in Polegate who did so much to make Evie’s wish of going to Give Kids the World in Florida back when she was 5. It was a trip she will never ever forget.
About the Children with Cancer Fund
The Children with Cancer Fund grants wishes to children up to the age of eighteen, and their families, who have, or have had, cancer.
They also as support families, buying them white goods or food in difficult times and providing trips and accommodation for families in need of a break.
They even support local hospitals and community nurses who assist in the care of the children under their remit.
Evie is booked in to get her hair cut on May 22nd. She is so excited to give to both of these amazing charities and would appreciate any donation, no matter how small.
Thanks so much for taking time to visit her page.
With love, Evie & family.xxx
