Justice for Diesel!!

Diesel was an incredibly sweet amazing boy, he loved his Kong and loved all his siblings. He seemed like a healthy happy dog up to a few weeks ago.. he started to not eat, had increase urination, bloody black  diarrhea and then lost control of his legs. We knew at that moment he NEEDED emergency care so we brought him to PETS Emergency located in Lancaster. He was admitted and looked at, the doctor suggested to start with blood work. It took two hours for them to run the bloodwork which came back horrible.. Diesel was either in Kidney Failure or had Addison’s disease. The doctor was leaning more with Addison’s disease and a plan was set in place to keep him over night with fluids and meds then recheck bloodwork. When we left we were very confident that he was in good hands and would get great care. Four hours later we got the most heart breaking news, Diesel’s heart stopped and they did everything but he was gone. We couldn’t believe this happened.. we knew he was sick but it didn’t make sense, we went back to PETS to speak to the doctor to find out exactly what happened and to come find out NOTHING was done, FOUR hours and no one had started his treatment plan. Our baby boy laid in their kennel while they forgot to give meds and fluids to him. The night shift staff/doctor had no idea about his case and what was or wasn’t done. PETS failed Diesel and us.. they took his chance to fight away.. those life saving measures could have saved him. How many others has this happen to? Diesel was there for a total of seven hours and only blood work and a catheter placed was done. We are asking people to help us get money for an attorney so we can file a lawsuit against PETS. This should not have happened. While we did not know exactly what happened, we do know that something could have been done. This could have been life saving for our sweet 6 year old boy. He has always been in perfect health. Only visited the vet in order to get his shots. Please help us get justice for our baby boy Diesel. He did not deserve the negligence from PETS.
