Life-saving surgery for Nala

Hi all, let me start by saying that this platform of asking for help is completely and totally outside of my comfort zone. Although, I never think twice about helping others, it's just a little different when it's the other way around.

My girl Nala was spayed on Wednesday of this week which is such a common procedure. She developed internal bleeding at some point after the surgery and we rushed her to the emergency animal hospital this morning. She was too weak to walk on her own and could barely lift her head. Her gums were white and she was severely anemic due to the bleeding.

Once she was seen, it was determined that I had 2 choices: have her humanely euthanized or have them perform surgery to stop the bleeding as soon as she was stabile. I chose the latter, I was not ready to say goodbye to my 4 year old, spunky and sweet girl.

I am humbly asking for any donation, big or small to help offset the costs associated with this procedure that Nala needed to have done today in order to save her life.

The estimated cost for the surgery is going to be between $5-$7k. She needed blood transfusions so I am assuming it will end up being on the higher end of the estimated range.
