My beloved Aunt Teri passed away unexpectedly June 19th. She leaves behind 3 sons. Henry and Adam both have disabilities, and Erik is trying to navigate how to take over their care while needing to make sure he keeps a roof over their heads. This involves dealing with social workers from multiple agencies, filing for guardianship or conservatorship, and figuring out how to pay monthly bills. Teri did not leave behind a will or trust, so there are a lot of things at risk. Erik has access to her accounts, but is not wanting to touch her money until legalities are figured out. I have started this fundraiser in hopes of giving Erik enough to at least pay off her car and maybe cover mortgage for a month or two so that the boys can have a safe place to stay while Erik tries to gain legal rights. Erik wants to try to keep him and his brothers together and doing so may take some time since there was no legal plans put in place for a situation like this. Any and all donations would be greatly appreciated. My goal is to help keep these brothers together as they have been their entire lives. To tear them apart would be traumatic, and losing their mom was traumatic enough. All funds will be sent to Erik so that he can continue providing until the legalities are figured out.
