Help Miguel Fight Cancer

If there is any time of urgency for Miguel, it is now. He needs our help as cancer is back once again in his life to haunt his already troubled life. Now, he is in urgent need of surgery but his insurance is not covering the costs!
Miguel has always been a fan of life in the form of airplanes, sunshine, music and different languages. He wishes to build a plane for himself one day, a dream that may diminish if we as a community do not step in. He is now often found looking at design books for airplanes which may or may not be quite possible as of today!
He was always a fighter with a kind soul. Even though his life had the worst start anyone could wish for as his father manipulated him from a very young age and even offered drugs. It seems that life was never on his side as his best friend in a school committed suicide because of domestic issues. He ran away from the worldly problems and joined the military service where he could find his purpose and solace. However, with the ever-increasing violence in Colombia, the fabric of his soul got more damaged.
Just after his 23rd birthday when he was in university studying philosophy (read: life), he ran into the stigma of social fear. He was a confident young man but this social fear had started to eat him from within making him fear for losing his friends and coworkers. Since then, it is his mother that took him in and cared for him since.
He ran into the menace of cancer for the first time at the age of 35. He left beside his social fears and became stronger with every chemo session. He was given 6 months to live but fought it out before the disease came back knocking. He has been diagnosed with recurrent cancer just at the onset of his 35th birthday. However, his current insurance plan does not cover cancer treatment and he is out there asking for assistance, yours and mine! The tumor is quite large and expanding with every second we waste in making a decision to help Miguel or not!
We are on a mission to collect as many funds as possible in order to give him an outside fighting chance against this menace. All collections will be going to a central fund that is dedicated to Miguel’s therapy, hospital charges, and operation bills. We have been successful in collecting personal funds but it will not be enough unless we come out as a community and help him fight a beast he never knew of!
Please remember that time is of the essence and we cannot lose out on a single minute.

Sauver Miguel Angel et changer son destin.
Miguel était un petit garçon heureux, nous avons passé des heures à jouer ensemble dans notre appartement en Colombie. Je n'ai pas précisé qu'il était mon demi-frère. Ma mère a épousé son père et croyez-le ou non, il a été son pire cauchemar. Il a manipulé mon frère toute sa vie de plusieurs façons et lui a même offert de la drogue quand il était adolescent.
Mon frère a beaucoup souffert car il aimait son père. Puis, comme cela ne suffisait pas, alors que mon frère était adolescent et à l'école, son meilleur ami s'est suicidé, et ensuite le service militaire l'a laissé très diminué.
Plus tard, à 23 ans, alors qu'il était enfin à l'université, essayant d'avoir une vie normale, ce qui devait arriver après plusieurs années d'abus psychologiques s'est produit : la peur sociale. Il avait peur de tout le monde et était incapable de travailler ou d'avoir des amis. Le destin frappait à nouveau, l'empêchant d'avoir une vie ou des rêves normaux. Depuis, il vit avec ma mère qui s'occupe toujours de lui aujourd'hui.
Mais son histoire de victime ne s'arrête pas là. Il y a cinq ans, à 35 ans, il a eu un cancer, autre héritage de son père et sa famille.
Miguel Angel a vaincu le cancer une première fois, mais aujourd'hui, après 5 ans, le cancer est de retour et il est très mauvais. Il a besoin d'une intervention chirurgicale urgente car la tumeur est déjà très grande et se développe rapidement, au même endroit que la précédente.
Son assurance actuelle ne couvre pas le traitement et c'est pourquoi je vous demande votre aide aujourd'hui.
Nous collectons tous les fonds possibles pour lui donner la chance de survivre au cancer pour de bon, ou peut-être simplement mourir dignement. Toutes les sommes collectées seront uniquement employées aux frais liées traitements et hospitalisation de Miguel.
