Tyler's Fight Against Cancer

Tyler was diagnosed with stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma and SVC Syndrome in February 2015. After four months of the standard chemotherapy regimen AVD it was determined that the cancer had progressed and even spread. In June 2015 Tyler was sent back to Kansas City to use an aggressive chemotherapy called ICE and to prepare for a stem cell transplant.

Even on the bad days...Tyler remains upbeat and strong and is one of the doctors/nurses favorite patients because of his contagious smile and witty humor. Laughter is sometimes one of the BEST medicines.

Tyler has a long road ahead of him to WIN this battle against cancer. He will be in KC for months staring the evil in the face and fighting it.

His family and friends are his biggest support system and love him very much. They are some of the most geniune people you would ever care to meet.
