Double Organ Transplant

Elizabeth Byrd Basinger of Albemarle, NC has had Type 1 (Insulin-dependent) Diabetes since the age of 6.  She suffers from Stage 4 kidney failure, partial blindness, nerve & joint pain, just to name a few complications of this terrible disease. Her only hope is a kidney and a pancreas transplant. Proceeds will help cover the cost of a 7 to 10 day hospital stay, trips to Charlotte multiple times a week for bloodwork, doctor appointments, medications and time off work.
