Emily Vines' Mission Trip to Kenya

Hi! My name is Emily Vines, and I'm a freshman at Appalachian State. I am so excited to have been chosen to spend two whole months in the summer serving the Lord with One Hope Ministry at Nairobi, Kenya. I will go to Fort Lauderdale, FL for one week of training, and then I will head off for Kenya on May 30th until July 25th. During my time in Kenya, I will serve as an intern for International Christian Center, which is a multicampus church in Africa. Through that, I will engage in the church ministry, serve in the local schools to introduce children to the Word of God, and live in a host home with a native family. I cannot wait to endulge myself into the outstanding culture of Africa and see what all God is leading me to throughout this mission trip. In order for me to make this happen, I must raise $2,000, which will cover airfare to Florida, Kenya, and back home. I am asking for your help in doing this- any amount helps!
