Zola was diagnosed with IMHA approximately 2 months ago (diagnosed April 18th  2018 . IMHA is immune mediated hemolytic anemia . Zola's immune system is destroying her red blood cells. Treatment requires frequent blood checks, ultrasound to rule out other causes of anemia, high doses of steroids and multiple immunosuppressant medicines.  Zola was successfully treated for another autoimmune illness (IMT) 2 years ago, unfortunately with the history of 1 autoimmune illness she was at risk of developing a second autoimmune illness. Zola's red blood cells or PCV (packed cell value) should be above 30..she was at 20 when diagnosed but recently dropped to 15. At this low level she needed hospital care and transfusion. She is currently at a clinic where she has received a transfusion but is also being treated for pancreatitis (a surprise development) Zola is 5 years old . She is a fighter . She helps me with my anxiety and panic attacks.  I am asking for prayers, support and now financial help. I am disabled and so is my husband. We have truly tried to pay for everything without assistance but Zola's bills have depleted my funds. I appreciate any assistance.. She has a chance if we can reach remission..
