Mitzis Holiday Miracle

In February Mitzi was pulled out of MDAS as a hospice case even though she is only 8years old.  We wanted to operate her tumor but she was severely anemic. The vets only gave her a few weeks to live bcs she was in such bad condition from Years of neglect and abuse.  Mitzi even has a kink in her neck, probably from an injury that was never taken care off she was physically abuse so I wouldn’t rule out that was the cause of it.  We started her on 3 different medications including Prednisolone even though the vets didn’t have much hope for her but we weren’t ready to give up on her yet.   10 months later Mitzi is still with us :) she runs, plays, barks lol she is a happy sweet little girl, always wagging her tail! She is down to one medication once a day Her white blood cell count is back to normal and the vets say she is now strong enough to undergo surgery for her mass. Rescue is never easy but to see a doggie like Mitzi be saved and do a complete turn around health wise is what keeps us going.   Mitzi wants nothing more than a loving home/family  of her own and we can try to make her wish come true
