MISSY'S KNEE REPLACEMENT SURGERY & MORE

Hey everyone. It's me, Missy Padgett!! Let me give a little back story and then go forward from there. In 2013 I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus and Systemic Scleroderma with the latter being terminal. In 2015, I was taken to UAB where for 8 days I lay in coma not expected to make it. On that eighth day, i woke up to the surprise of 20 doctors that had been working on me and studying me. God said, my time here on this people planet was not done. I was given a second chance at life and I embraced it!! Although I have had the best doctors around, there are no cures for my autoimmune disorders. It took nearly 5 years of experimental drugs to find the right meds for me. Just one medication alone is $5000 a month for 30 pills. Xeljanz 11mg. This has been my miracle drug. Because it took years to find out what was wrong with me and more years to find the right meds, the diseases took a toll on my body and the damage was far more advanced than we thought. The damage is irreversible but, the meds can slow down the progression. With that being said, I will be going in the hospital on December 21, 2020 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama. I will be having a total knee replacement surgery due to damage from my autoimmune disorders. I will be in the hospital for 2 days under strict quarantine and once I go home, will be under strict quarantine for 14 days. I am very high risk for infections and COVID-19. After I recover from the knee surgery, I will have a 3rd back surgery due to the same reasons. I do have Medicare but, that only covers some of the cost. I am reaching out to all of my friends and family in Hope's to help me reach my goal. I will have a lot of expenses that personally I cannot afford. I hope and pray with all the people that I know and others know, I can reach my goal. Share my post with as many people as you can please.
