Pepper’s Knee Surgery

Miss Pep (1 year old) was diagnosed with Luxating Patella(s), a condition in which the kneecap is dislocated from its normal anatomic position in the groove of the thigh bone and causes lameness in dogs. At just one year old, Pepper’s condition was diagnosed as worst case scenario not only affecting both of her knees but giving her chronic arthritis as a puppy (a condition she will have the rest of her life), making surgery necessary. The cost of surgical treatment is significant - the expense of which is quoted at $1,500-3,000 per knee. We are asking for a suggested donation of $5,000 to cover the cost of surgery and other medical expenses. This surgery will allow Pepper to live a full and happy life free of pain. Without which her quality of life will be severely diminished and the only relief coming from costly daily anti inflammatory pills. We all love Miss Pep so so much and she deserves a full pain free life. Any donation is appreciated and will be put toward the surgery and recovery of Pepper. All extra money will be put towards the time Jessica has to take off from work to care for Pepper post-op. We appreciate you all! ❤️
