The Coronavirus pandemic has hit all of us; rich, poor, old, young. For many, like myself, we have careers that allow us to keep working remotely. Unfortunately, for full-time musicians, this has been devastating.
All music venues are closed, gatherings of people are forbidden for safety. Additionally, most full time musicians also moonlight in the service industry which means that in one swift move; most of the local and regional musicians you love have been effectively cut off from their income.
My goal, with this campaign, is to do--at scale--what I've been trying to do individually. I want to raise money to help those that fill our evenings and weekends with the authentic, original music we love. I am enlisting leaders in the industry, venue owners, bands, and others to help me distribute this fund in the ways it will best help those in need.
