I am an official candidate for the 2014 Miss New York USA pageant held on January 17-19, 2014 and I am honored and extremely proud to represent Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. As a top 20 Semi-finalist out of 150 graceful women in last year's Miss New York USA, I have gained much tenacity, strength and will power to succeed. I am now prepared to take New York by storm once again.
Winning Miss New York USA 2014 will give me not only a platform, but also the exposure to expound upon my ultimate goals. As an author of the blog, C Suite Swag, I equip young people with the skills they lack to achieve their ultimate career success. By teaching professional skills and sharing resources, we can help children of ALL communities see new heights for themselves. Our youth deserve to experience class mobility and I am well-appointed with not only the knowledge, but the faith, personal experience and compassion to leave no child behind.
The power of the sash and crown will aid me in discovering the network, skills and resources to ultimately bring this dream to fruition.
It is my FINAL year to reach for this dream and in doing so, I humbly ask for your support. No donation is too small to help.
