my 6-month mission trip!

Dear Supporters,
My experience the last two months has been powerfully life changing! I have learned so much in such a short time and have grown in such a tremendous way! In 17 days my team will be in Thailand where we will be working with trafficking victims and spending time in the slums, loving on some kids!!
I am so grateful for all the prayers, money, and encouraging words that you have poured in! I even got extra which covered baggage and other random expenses. I would like to ask you to prayerfully consider donating a couple more bucks. In Thailand, I plan to use money to buy roses from street kids who will get beaten if they don't sell them all by the end of the day. Also, additional money can be used toward rescuing trafficking victims nightly!!
I won't need much since the US dollar is so valuable in Thailand. The roses cost about 70cents!

Dear friends and family,
I recently decided to begin a new journey in my life and I am thrilled to tell you about it! I have decided to follow my passion to help children at risk.
On March 17^th I will be going to Monroe, North Carolina to get training at a Discipleship Training School (DTS) with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). My team and I will spend 3 months in lectures and training in the practical aspects of rescuing children.
After this intense training we will travel to Thailand, Uganda, or India to help save children from war zones, brothels, or human trafficking. When the children are brought out of these horrible situations they will be placed in safe orphanages.
The most important thing I am asking from you, my family and friends is prayer. I am also asking if you would consider partnering with me financially. The total cost for me to participate in the 6 months of training and outreach is about $8000. This will cover all my living expenses while in the U.S. and whichever country I go to in outreach. It will also cover my travel expenses while on the team. Obviously, I will be selling my beloved Chevy, (any buyers? lol) but I still have thousands of dollars to raise by March!
