Sharing the Gospel in West Africa
Thank you for clicking on the link! Kyle, Katie, and I are eager to tell you about an opportunity God has put before us to minister in another part of the world, and to ask for your support.
This September 19-30 (2017) we will be traveling to a country in West Africa. We will be working among the Anii (‘Ah-nee’), a tribal people in the central part of Africa. There are about 50,000 Anii in West Africa, and about 60,000 worldwide. Only a handful of Anii follow Christ; the main religion of the Anii is Islam with some elements of Voodoo mixed in. Our goals are: 1) to encourage and train Anii Christians in sharing their faith, and 2) to help them spread the gospel in several Anii towns and villages. The big aim of this strategy is NOT to establish American style churches among the Anii but to see the gospel take firm root and native leaders raised up to make disciples and plant native churches until Jesus returns.
We are seeking two types of support for this trip. First and foremost is prayer support. We are hoping to raise an army of prayer-warriors who will ask God….
· To prepare the hearts of many Anii to hear and receive the gospel of Jesus Christ
· To grant safe travel to, from, and within Benin
· To get (and keep) our three-person mission team physically, mentally, and spiritually ready for the many challenges of preparing for and executing this trip, and
· To provide for our physical and financial needs before and during the trip.
The second type of support is financial support. The Lord has already supported us generaously through loving and generous friends and family, however we have not yet reached our goal. We have $5,754.54 left to raise inorder to reach our goal! The money raised will pay for the cost of interpretors used to spread and teach the word of God, evagalize to the Anii tribal group, and teach pastors and church members how to strengthen their congergation. Please make investments by September 18, 2017. Your donation of any amount will be used as a gospel investment that will last an eternity. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
