First Mission Trip - Honduras!

I'm Valerie and Im setting up this fundraiser for my daugther and I. She's wanted to go on a mission trip ever since she came to know the Lord, but I have never felt called to global missions, so we were waiting until she gets older. However, that changed Feb 23. I noticed an announcement about a trip to Honduras, in August of 2014. I felt strongly I was supposed to go, so I emailed the Mission Pastor at our church and found out that if I went - Hannah could go! Needless to say, we have a very excited almost 13 year old girl! We decided to sign up, and are taking a huge step of faith! We can not do this in our own power!
The trip our team is taking is to Rancho Ebenezer, in Honduras. Rancho Ebenezer is part of World Gospel Outreach and is an orphanage. The team we will be part of will be ministering to orphans and the local community by helping the Ranch with daily activities and direct interaction with the children. We will also be spending time in the community, sharing God's love for His children and spreading of the Gospel. You can learn more about the ranch online, but it's an 85 acre facility that grows both coffee and blueberries to sell to help fund the mission. The children are in a loving environment, taught about Jesus, receive a good bilingual education, taught life skills and as they mature, are helped with transitioning to adulthood.

The trip will cost a total of $3200 ($1600 each) and the first $1200 is due April 13th!
