Mission to Maho (and area)

As most of you know, hurricane Irma slammed through Sint Maarten yesterday, destroying many buildings in her path.
Though we still do not know the extent of the human casualties, the catastrophic devastation is evident from photos and messages received from people on the island.
As long-time visitors to the island, we have grown to know and love so much of the island. We think of the residents there as extended family.
We have been blessed to have the means to visit the island frequently, and we sit and watch, helplessly from our warm homes, we know that we must help. The island isn't just a destination for many of us; it's a second home.
We are recruiting medical volunteers and skilled tradespeople and are organizing a mission trip to help with medical care and clean up. If you are able to join us, please reach out. If you are unable, please reach in and donate a few dollars.
100% of funds will be used to purchase supplies for the mission that will be given direct to resident of the island. We are working with suppliers to have as much donated as we can. We are NOT using any donated dollars for our own accommodations or time - our volunteers are donating of their time, money and resources to help rebuild this beautiful island.
