Retired Vet's service dog's surgery
Donation protected
Hello, I have created this Gofundme account for my friend, Kerri. She is retired military and has had her service dog Daisy for the past five years and Daisy is in need of a surgery. She sprained her ACL this past January and was being treated for it. This week Kerri was sick and Daisy hurried to be by her side and slipped and fell in the bathroom. Daisy now has a ruptured ACL and NEEDS surgery.
The clinic is discounting the surgery 20% since she is a service dog. The surgery and costs associated will be between $2,000 and $2,500 is the estimate they gave. Costs can arise unexpectantly and that is why i put $3000. If the full $3000 is raised about $250 goes to fees here and anything over the initial surgery costs will go to anything that Daisy needs. If Kerri cannot find the money to pay for Daisy's medical needs she will have to return her to the organization that she came from and Kerri most likely would not get her back.
Any help you can give, I would appreciate it! An american veteran should be able to keep her service dog and companion.
Thank you for anything you can do. If you are unable to help donate, please share this on social media.
