Miss CHSRA Cailee goes to Nationals

Hi Everyone,
My name is Cailee Kathleen Roper, I am the 17 year old daughter of Charles and Kari Roper. I reside in Brawley, California, where I attend Brawley Union High School as a (now) senior. I have maintained a 4.0 GPA throughout my high school career earning my academic letter. I am the President of the BUHS Rodeo Club, a member of the Jr. Fairboard, and a dance instructor and receptionist at Ooh La La Dance Studio. I have been involved in the California High School Rodeo Association Circut for four years, also including the Jr. High Division. I participate in barrels, poles and was crowned the CHSRA District 8 Queen for the second year in a row on May 7, 2017.
On June 9, 2017 I traveled to Bishop, Ca as the Miss California High School Rodeo Assciation (CHSRA) District 8 Queen to compete against eight other districts for the State Queen Title. On June 16th I was crowned Miss California High School Rodeo Association Queen, winning six out of eight categories. Now I am on the road to the National High School Rodeo Association (NHSRA) Finals in Gillette, Wyoming. I will compete against 47 other contestants from several States and Provinces during the week of July 14-22, 2017.
While I am excited and grateful to represent our State of California at the NHSRA Finals competition, my journey will be a costly one. I am asking for your generosity in helping me achieve my goal of $10,000.00 over the next three weeks. This amount will cover the travel costs and room and board for me and my horse. I appreciate any donation you are able to give.
I would also like to invite you to join me on Thursday, June 29th at 6:30pm for a Meet & Greet at the Stockmen's Club that will feature a silent auction. The proceeds of the auction will be going towards my travel goal. I sincerely hope you will join us so I have the pleasure of meeting you face to face. The Stockmen's Club is located at 275 Marjorie Avenue in Brawley, Ca.
