Those lucky enough to do life with the Brown family know that they are “salt of the earth” kind of people; generous, loving, service-oriented and downright GOOD people.
In April 2019, Melisha Brown went to the doctor for stomach pain and they discovered tumors on her liver, lung and colon. After further testing, and to everyone's shock and disbelief, this beautiful and selfless wife, mother and grandmother was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer.
No words can describe the myraid of emotions the Brown’s are feeling right now. However, in true form, they are tackling this new reality head-on with grace, courage, and faith in our Savior.
Many people have asked (and are now asking) how they can help this very special family...
First, please continue to offer prayers (specifically that her cancer will not spread any further)- they need them now more than ever. It is the love and prayers from family, friends and strangers alike that is sustaining them during this unimaginably difficult time.
In addition, this GoFundMe was created to raise money so the Brown family can focus on what matters MOST (time together as a family, as well as determining the right treatment plan for Melisha). If you are able to donate any amount at this time, please do. As one can imagine, the bills that come with a cancer diagnosis are insurmountable and if we can help ease the financial burden, even just a little bit, it would be a huge relief and very much appreciated.
