Mira-Bells service pup needs training

Mira-bell is a very special two year old with with very special needs . Mira was born at 25 weeks with a grade 4 brain bleed which required a shunt placement( hydrocephalus )and caused long-term brain damage. The brain damage then caused her to develop cerebral palsy from birth. When she was only 1 years old she experienced her first tonic clonic seizure. 

It wasn’t a month later when she had her second seizure where she was diagnosed with epilepsy.The seizures haven’t slowed down since . Mira doesn’t sit , walk or crawl independently and requires 100% help in all areas .  Mira is now 2 and a very special baby who has seizures differently from most other kids with epilepsy. You see ...... All of her seizures start in the middle of the night while she sleeps (so far),  therefor it makes it almost impossible to know when she is about to seize or to know when she has started seizing . Mira sleeps right next to her momma every night so that her mom knows when she starts to seize but mom hasn’t gotten a full nights sleep since Mira-Bells first seizure . She is up every hour or less to check on Mira . As Miras health and safety are her main priority . This is where Tinsel comes in :) Tinsel was donated to Mira on her Birthday as a service pup ! What a blessing ! Praise God ! However there’s a small catch , Tinsel has had NO training yet . Miras mommy has reached out to A local certified service dog trainer here in McMinnville and they have quoted us the price of a estimated 4500$ 

 Our hope and prayer is to train Tinsel to alert Miras momma of a on coming seizure before she can physically see it . Tinsel will bark to notify us of seizures day or night . He will also be a emotional support to Mira after a hard seizure. 

We pray that we can raise enough money to train Tinsel so that as Mira gets older she will beable to have more independence and peace of mind . Tinsel will be able to notify us and potential  save Mira life . This will be life changing for our family .
