The Mini Monarchs Child Care Facility is tentatively set to open August 13!
The Board of Directors has been very appreciative of the community’s support and generosity thus far while working to open the facility. We believe that opening the facility will be a huge benefit to the surrounding community and a way to retain enrollments at Midway School for many years to come.
With the opening of this new facility, comes a large amount of start-up costs. Start-up costs include initial staffing wages and training, building renovation expenses, furniture, and necessary equipment purchases. These purchases include kitchen appliances and equipment, Pack n Plays, high chairs, bouncers, storage organization, rocking chairs, activity centers, craft equipment, books and bookshelves, imaginative play items, appropriate toys for each age group...the list goes on and on! Based on the current estimated number of children attending, start-up costs are estimated to be $40,000.
The Forest River Community Church has generously and graciously offered to MATCH ALL DONATIONS received between March 2 and December 31, up to $25,000!!! This is AMAZING news, and we are so thankful for the church members who see the benefit in this facility and the need in the community. Your generosity is appreciated…small towns are amazing!
SO…we are graciously asking for your help! Please consider donating to the Mini Monarchs Child Care Facility. Your donation will be MATCHED, and ANY amount will help us to achieve our goal of opening the doors to our community on August 13!
