Dear Friends and Family. I have wonderful news.! I was awarded a fellowship in the Center of Mind, Body and Culture at Florida Atlantic University. I will be working with the philosopher who founded the field of somaesthetics. Continuing my scholarship, writing and research in this context helps to support my work on the concept of Latin soul and the healing benefits of Afro-Latin dance. My interest is to bring to light the inherent beauty and depth of Latinx culture and the ways it benefits the world globally.

In order to continue this work I need to raise funds for relocating to Florida in August. 

The money will be used for travel, security deposit for a new apartment, shipping belongings, etc.
