Mind Murals
Mind Murals is a community art project that uses augmented reality to promote mental health. It is organised by Feral Events in partnership with Barnet Haringey and Enfield Mental Health Trust .
Mind Murals project aims to inform and educate via its own augmented reality application, activated by our murals located in local communities.
The Mind Murals App will provide access to inspiring and practical mental health resources such as art, personal stories, urgent help information, advice, music, poetry, mindfulness and more.
The content will be curated using an outreach program with local individuals, charities and organisations. An ongoing program of content will provide a continued legacy far beyond the hospital walls.
PHASE 1
Artists Matt Dosa and Aoife van Linden Tol will deliver a series of art workshops with mental health service users at Blossom Court, St Ann’s Hospital, and the Bridge Renewal Trust, in Haringey London. These workshops are designed to bring cognitive benefits to the participants through creative practice. To grow their confidence, share their stories and allow them to experience new ways of expressing themselves.
The murals will be designed collaboratively using the material generated in the workshops.
One mural will enliven the interior of the new purpose-built mental health ward At St Anns, Blossom Court.

One will be painted at a Bridge Renewal Trust venue.
